[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8831, August 22, 2000 ]
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY PANITIAN, MUNICIPALITY OF QUEZON, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, TO BE KNOWN AS THE QUEZON-PANITIAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established a national high school in Barangay Panitian, Municipality of Quezon, Province of Palawan, to be known as the Quezon-Panitian National High School.
SEC. 2. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue the necessary rules, circulars and regulations to implement this Act.
SEC. 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on December 8, 1998 and June 5, 2000, respectively.
