[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8927, August 22, 2000 ]
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY PANDAN, MUNICIPALITY OF CAOAYAN, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS SUR, TO BE KNOWN AS THE CAOAYAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established a national high school in Barangay Pandan, Municipality of Caoayan, Province of Ilocos Sur to be known as the Caoayan National High School.
SEC. 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SEC. 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect immediately upon approval thereof.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on April 4, 2000 and May 22, 2000, respectively.
