[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4285, June 19, 1965 ]

AN ACT TO AMEND REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED THIRTY-SIX HUNDRED SIXTEEN, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT, OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SALCEDO, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS SUR, TO BE KNOWN AS THE INTERIOR OF ILOCOS SUR HOSPITAL, AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR."



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Sections one and two of Republic Act Numbered Thirty-six hundred sixteen are hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. There, shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Department of Health, a twenty-five bed hospital in the Municipality of Salcedo, Province of Ilocos Sur, to be known as Tirad Pass Memorial Hospital."

"SEC. 2.  The sum of one hundred and fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the said hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-four. There after the Secretary of Health shall include in the annual budget of that Department such sum as may be required for the operation and maintenance of the Tirad Pass Memorial Hospital, which amount shall then be included in the Annual General Appropriations Act."
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
