[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4476, June 19, 1965 ]
AN ACT TO AMEND REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-THREE HUNDRED TWENTY-NINE, ENTITLED "AN ACT GRANTING DEMOCRITO 0. PLAZA A TEMPORARY PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, ESTABLISH, MAINTAIN AND OPERATE PRIVATE FIXED POINT-TO-POINT STATIONS FOR THE RECEPTION AND TRANSMISSION OF RADIO COMMUNICATIONS WITHIN THE PHILIPPINES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. Sections one, two and four of Republic Act Numbered Twenty-three hundred twenty-nine are hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION 1. Sections one, two and four of Republic Act Numbered Twenty-three hundred twenty-nine are hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. There is hereby granted to Democrito 0. Plaza a temporary permit to construct, establish, main�tain and operate in the Philippines, at such places as the grantee may select, subject to the approval of the Secretary of Public Works and Communications, private fixed point-to-point and land based and land mobile aeronautical and coastal radio stations, for the reception and transmission of wireless messages on radiotelegraphy or radiotelephony, each station to be provided with a radio transmitting apparatus and a radio receiving apparatus.SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
"SEC. 2. The President of the Philippines shall have the power and authority to permit the location of said private fixed point-to-point and land based and land mobile aeronautical and coastal radio stations or any of them in lands of the public domain upon such terms as he prescribe.
"SEC. 4. The grantee shall not engage in domestic business of telecommunications in the Philippines without further special assent of the Congress of the Philippines, it being understood that the purpose of this temporary permit is to secure to the grantee private fixed point-to-point and land based and land mobile aeronautical and coastal radio stations at such places in the Philippines as the interest of the grantee and of his business may justify."
