[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6822, December 18, 1989 ]

AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE CALLAWA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN DAVAO CITY TO GORGONIO TAJO, SR. NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Callawa National High School in Davao City shall hereafter be known as the Gorgonio Tajo, Sr. National High School, in honor of its donor, the late Gorgonio Tajo, Sr.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports is hereby empowered, authorized and directed to issue rules and regulations to implement the purpose of this Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on June 5, 1989 and September 22, 1989, respectively.
