[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3899, June 18, 1964 ]

AN ACT AMENDING REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED NINETEEN HUNDRED TWENTY-EIGHT BY FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF THE OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF MANILA.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Section one of Republic Act Numbered Nineteen hundred and twenty-eight is amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. The provisions of the Revised Charter of the City of Manila, as amended, to the contrary notwithstanding, officials of the city shall receive the following annual compensation:

Secretary to the Mayor

Two assistant Secretaries to the Mayor, each  at P14,000.00    …………………..........

SEC. 2. The incumbent officials holding the positions affected by this Act shall receive the salary increases upon the effectivity thereof without the  necessity  of a  new appointment.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
