[ Act No. 1970, January 14, 1910 ]

AN ACT LEGALIZING, RATIFYING, AND CONFIRMING ALL ACTS PASSED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE MORO PROVINCE AND HERETOFORE APPROVED BY THE PHILIPPINE COMMISSION AMENDING OR REPEALING OR INCONSISTENT WITH ANY ACT OF THE PHILIPPINE COMMISSION AND ALL TAXES COLLECTED AND ACTION TAKEN AND THINGS DONE UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF ANY OF SUCH ACTS OF THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE MORO PROVINCE PRIOR TO THE ENACTMENT OF THIS LAW.

By authority of the United States, be it  enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:

SECTION 1. All acts passed by the legislative council of the Moro Province and heretofore approved by the Philippine Commission which amend or repeal or are inconsistent with, any of the Acts of the Philippine Commission, and all taxes collected and action taken and things done under the provisions of any of such acts of the legislative council of the Moro Province prior to the enactment of this law, are hereby legalized, ratified, and confirmed as fully to all intents and purposes as if such acts had been originally enacted by the Philippine Commission and such taxes collected and action taken and things done had by prior Act of the Philippine Commission been specifically authorized and directed.

SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure bv the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
