[ Act No. 1345, May 19, 1905 ]

AN ACT SO AMENDING ACT NUMBERED EIGHT HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SEVEN AS TO ABOLISH THE COURT OF FIRST INSTANCE NOW AUTHORIZED BY LAW TO BE HELD AT BANGUED. IN THE PROVINCE OF ABRA.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:

SECTION 1. That portion of section five of Act Numbered Eight hundred and sixty-seven, entitled "Act amending organization of courts," which relates to the Second .Judicial District is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
"The Second Judicial District shall consist of the Provinces of Ilocos Norte and Jlocos Sur, including the subprovince of Abra."
SEC. 2. That part of section seven of said Act Numbered Eight-hundred and sixty-seven which relates to the times and places of holding Courts of First instance in the Second Judicial District, as amended by Act Numbered Twelve hundred and forty-five, is hereby further amended so as to read as follows:

"SECOND DISTRICT.
"At Vigan, in and for the Province of Ilocos Sur, commencing on the first Tuesdays of March, September, and November.

"At Laoag, in and for the Province of Ilocos Norte, commencing on the first Tuesdays of January and July."
SEC. 3. The Court of First Instance heretofore authorized to be held at Bangued, in and for the Province of Abra, is hereby abolished and there shall no longer be a clerk of the Court of First Instance for the Province of Abra. The present clerk is directed to deliver all the records of his office to the clerk of the Court of First Instance for the Province of Ilocos Suv, who shall receive and preserve the same as a part of the records of the Province of Ilocos Stir.

SEC. 4. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.

SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect June first, nineteen hundred and five.
