[ Act No. 3319, December 04, 1926 ]

AN ACT TO REGULATE THE PRIVATE PRACTICE PRIVILEGES OF THE PHYSICIANS IN THE GOVERNMENT SERVICE ATTACHED TO HOSPITALS UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE PHILIPPINE HEALTH SERVICE.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:

SECTION 1. Any  provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding, any physician serving in any hospital under the jurisdiction of the Philippine Health Service, excepting interns, who by virtue of Act Numbered Twenty-nine hundred and thirty-five is entitled to practice privately, may receive a share of his receipts for professional  services rendered to private or pay patients in or outside the hospital, during or outside of office hours, on recommendation of the
Director of Health and with the approval of the Department Secretary: Provided, That not less than twenty-five per centum of such receipts shall go to the hospital.

SEC. 2. The schedule of fees of the physician shall be regulated by the  Director of Health, with the approval of the Department  Secretary.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
