[ Act No. 1320, April 12, 1905 ]

AN ACT AMENDING ACT NUMBERED TWELVE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-NINE, ENTITLED "AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF CERTAIN SUMS OF MONEY TO THE PRESENT SULTAN OF SULU AND HIS PRINCIPAL ADVISERS, AND MAKING PERMANENT APPROPRIATION THEREFOR."

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:

SECTION 1. Act Numbered Twelve hundred and fifty-nine, entitled "An Act providing for the payment of certain sums of money to the present Sultan of Sulu and his principal advisers, and making permanent appropriation therefor," is hereby amended by adding at the end of section one the following: "and to Maharajah Indanan, nine hundred pesos; to Hadji Tahil, six hundred pesos; and to Hadji Sali, four hundred and fifty pesos."

SEC. 2. Said Act Numbered Twelve hundred and fifty-nine is hereby further amended by inserting after the word "month" at the close of the first sentence of section two thereof the following: "Provided, That payment at the rate prescribed in section one hereof shall be made to Maharajah Indanan, Hadji Tahil, and Hadji Sali from and after January first, nineteen hundred and five."

SEC. 3. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
