[ Act No. 1312, April 01, 1905 ]

AN ACT SO AMENDING SECTION THIRTEEN OF THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT AS AMENDED BY SECTION THREE OF ACT NUMBERED ELEVEN HUNDRED AND EIGHT AS TO INCREASE THE SALARY OF THE ASSOCIATE JUDGE OF THE COURT OF LAND REGISTRATION FROM FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS TO FOUR THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS PER ANNUM BY AUTHORITY OF THE UNITED STATES, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PHILIPPINE COMMISSION, THAT:

SECTION 1. The first sentence of section thirteen of the Land Registration Act as amended by section three of Act Numbered Eleven hundred and eight, entitled "An Act amending several sections of Act Numbered Four hundred and ninety-six, entitled The Land Registration Act," is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
"The salary of the judge of the Court of Land Registration shall he five thousand dollars per annum, and that of the associate judge shall be four thousand five hundred dollars per annum, and that of the clerk of the court shall be two thousand five hundred dollars per annum; the salary of any associate judge appointed after July first, nineteen hundred and five, under this Act shall be four thousand dollars per annum for the first two years of service, and thereafter four thousand five hundred dollars per annum."
SEC. 2. Any moneys appropriated for salaries and wages, Bureau of Justice, for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and five, by Act Numbered Twelve hundred and twenty-five, are hereby made available for payment of the salaries in this Act provided.

SEC. 3. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
