[ Act No. 3920, August 08, 1932 ]

AN ACT TO AMEND ACT NUMBERED FOURTEEN HUNDRED AND NINETY-NINE, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO PREVENT THE USE OF EXPLOSIVES AND POISONS FOR TAKING FISH IN THE WATERS OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS", AS AMENDED BY ACT NUMBERED THIRTY HUNDRED AND TWELVE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:

SECTION 1. Section three of Act Numbered Fourteen hundred and ninety-nine, as amended by Act Numbered Thirty hundred and twelve, is hereby further amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 3. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall, for each offense, be punished by a fine of not less than five hundred pesos nor more than five thousand, and by imprisonment for not less than six months nor more than five years, in the discretion of the court. All explosives, poisons, boats, tackle, apparel, furniture and other apparatus used to aid in the violation of this Act shall be forfeited to the Government."
SEC. 2. All acts or parts of acts inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
