[ Act No. 1221, August 26, 1904 ]

AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE PROVINCIAL BOARD OF TAYABAS TO MAKE A LOAN OF FIVE THOUSAND PESOS FROM PROVINCIAL FUNDS TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF LUCENA, IN THAT PROVINCE, IN ADDITION TO THE LOAN AUTHORIZED IN ACT NUMBERED EIGHT HUNDRED AND EIGHTEEN.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:

SECTION 1. The provincial board of Tayabas is hereby authorized to loan from provincial funds the sum of five thousand pesos, Philippine currency, to the municipality of Lucena, in the Province of Tayabas, in addition to the Joan authorized in Act Numbered Eight hundred and eighteen, to be use for the  purpose of completing the construction of a public school building in the municipality of Lucena, and to be repaid to the provincial treasury within six months from the date of refund of the loan authorized in Act Numbered Eight hundred and eighteen, without interest.

SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
