[ Act No. 1203, July 22, 1904 ]

AN ACT APPROPRIATING SEVENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS, IN MONEY OF THE UNITED STATES, FOR PAYMENT OF THE SECOND QUARTERLY INTEREST UPON THE FRIAR LAND BONDS.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:

SECTION 1. There is herein appropriated, out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of seventy thousand dollars, in money of the United States, for the purpose of paying interest for the second quarter upon the bonds issued in payment of the so-called "friar lands," in pursuance of the provisions of Act Numbered One thousand and thirty-four.

SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
