[ Act No. 3865, November 13, 1931 ]

AN ACT AMENDING SECTION TWO OF ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-NINE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-FOUR.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:

SECTION 1. Section two of Act Numbered Twenty-nine hundred and eighty-four is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 2. Every person, club, corporation or organization engaged in promoting sparring or boxing exhibitions shall pay an annual privilege tax as follows: in the City of Manila six hundred pesos; in the City of Baguio and in the capitals of the Provinces of Cebu, Iloilo, Zamboanga, and Davao four hundred pesos; in the municipalities of the first and second class two hundred eighty pesos; in the municipalities of third; fourth, and fifth class two hundred pesos, payable quarterly in advance, to the Collector of Internal Revenue or his deputy, as the case may be, in addition to such tax as each municipality may fix by ordinance."
SEC. 2. All acts or parts of acts which may be inconsistent with this Act are hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
