[ Act No. 366, March 03, 1902 ]

AN ACT AMENDING SECTION FOUR OF ACT NUMBERED TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY-EIGHT, ENTITLED "AN ACT CREATING A BUREAU OF ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC BUILDINGS," AND ALL AMENDMENTS THEREOF, BY PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE IN THE NUMBER AND SALARIES OF EMPLOYEES OF SAID BUREAU.

By authority of the President of the United States, be it enacted by the United States Philippine Commission, that:

SECTION 1. Section four of Act Numbered Two hundred and sixty-eighty, entitled "An Act creating a Bureau of Architecture and Construction of Public Buildings," and amendments thereof, are hereby amended to read as follows:
"The following employees of the Bureau of Architecture and Construction of Public Buildings, in addition to the chief of the Bureau, are hereby authorized: One superintendent of construction, class six; one chief clerk, class seven, who shall also act as disbursing clerk; one draftsman, class seven; three draftsmen, one engineer, and one clerk, class eight; two clerks and one storekeeper, class nine; two draftsmen, Class G; three draftsmen, Class H; one janitor, at an annual compensation of two hundred and ten dollars; one messenger, at an annual compensation of one hundred ad fifty dollars; and such laborers, skilled and unskilled, as may from time to time be recommended as necessary by the chief of the Bureau and approved by the Secretary of Public Instruction; and such skilled and unskilled laborers shall be paid out of funds appropriated quarterly for the maintenance, repair, and construction of public buildings."
SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
