[ Act No. 3190, November 29, 1924 ]

AN ACT GRANTING THE MANILA RAILROAD COMPANY OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS AUTHORITY TO ESTABLISH A TELEPHONE LINE BETWEEN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF PAMPLONA AND PASAEAO, IN THE PROVINCE OF CAMARINES SUR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and  by the authority of the same:

SECTION 1.  There  is hereby granted for a period of fifty years from and after the date of the approval of this Act to the Manila Railroad Company of the Philippine Islands, its  successors or assigns,  the right and  privilege to  construct, maintain, and operate a telephone system for the exclusive use of said Manila Railroad Company of the Philippine Islands in its business between  the municipalities of Pamplona  and Pasaeao, in the  Province of  Camarines Sur, and for the purpose of operating said telephone system, to construct, maintain, and operate  and use all  apparatus, conduits, and  appliances necessary for the electrical transmission of  messages and signals,  to  erect poles,  string wires, build conduits, lay cables,  and to  construct, maintain,  and use such other approved and  generally accepted means of electrical  conduction in, on, over, or under the public roads, highways, lands, bridges, streets, lanes, alleys, avenues, and  sidewalks  of said municipalities as may be necessary and best adapted to the transmission of messages and signals by means of electricity.

SEC.  2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
