AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION ONE OF ACT NUMBERED THIRTY-FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY-SEVEN, AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF INSULAR GOVERNMENT BUILDING AND THE ALTERATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE OFFICIAL RESIDENCES OF THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN THE CITIES OF MANILA AND BAGUIO, PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the same:
SECTION 1. Section one of Act Numbered Thirty-five hundred and ninety-seven is hereby amended to read as follows:

"SECTION The construction of Insular Government buildings on the site set aside as government enter in the Burnham Plan for the improvement or the City of Manila, including the acquisition of the privately owned land and building and the property and land owned by the United States Army known as the Nozaleda Reservation, within the site, and the alteration and improvement of the official residences of the Governor-General in the Cities of Manila and Baguio are hereby authorized."SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
