[ Act No. 1160, May 19, 1904 ]

AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE COLLECTOR OF CUSTOMS FOR THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS TO CLEAR FOREIGN VESSELS FOR THE PORT OF ISABELA DE BASILAN.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:

SECTION 1. The Collector of Customs for the Philippine Islands is hereby authorized to clear foreign vessels for the port of Isabela de Basilan, Island of Basilan, under such conditions and regulations as be may impose: Provided, That all expense incident to the entrance of a foreign vessel into the port of Isabela de Basilan shall be a charge against such vessel and shall he collected before the vessel is granted a foreign clearance.

SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
