AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE SEGREGATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CONCEPCION, ON THE ISLAND OF MAESTRE DE CAMPO FROM THE PROVINCE OF ROMBLON, AND ITS ANNEXATION TO THE PROVINCE OF MINDORO. AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
Be it enacted
by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in
Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:
SECTION 1. The Secretary of the Interior is hereby em- powered, whenever the public, interest may demand it, to segregate the municipality of Concepcion, on the Island of Maestre de Campo, from the Province of Romblon, to which it at present belongs, and annex it to the Province of Mindoro.
SEC. 2. The municipality of Concepcion, the segregation whereof is authorized by this Act, shall have the same' territory and boundaries as it has at present.
SEC. 3. All acts or parts of acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect in accordance with the provisions of section eleven of the Administrative Code.
