[ Act No. 3805, December 05, 1930 ]

AN ACT AMENDING SECTION TWO OF ACT NUMBERED THIRTY-THREE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-SEVEN, ENTITLED "AN ACT AUTHORIZING PRIVATE SURVEYORS TO MAKE CADASTRAL SURVEYS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES."

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:

SECTION 1. Section two of Act Numbered Thirty-three hundred and twenty-seven is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 2. One-tenth of the cost of registration proceedings and of the fees for surveys made by a corporation of private land surveyors in accordance with this Act shall be borne by the Insular Government; one-tenth shall be paid by the province concerned, and one-tenth by the city, municipality or municipal district in which the land is situated, the city to be considered for this purpose both as a province and municipality; and the remaining seven-tenths  shall  constitute a first lien on the land of the occupants or claimants the payment of which shall be obligatory for each of them, in conformity with the terms of the project concerned: Provided, however, That none of the provisions of this section shall be construed to oblige the Government to pay fees to corporations of private surveyors for surveys of public lands surrounded by private lands claimed in the same cadastral proceedings.

"The Director of Lands shall each year include in the estimate of his Bureau the sum necessary to cover the contribution of the Insular Government for cadastral surveys  hereafter executed by private land surveyors."
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
