[ Act No. 3715, November 20, 1930 ]

AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION THREE OF ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-SEVEN HUNDRED AND TWENTY-EIGHT, ENTITLED "AN ACT CREATING THE BUREAU OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY, DEFINING ITS FUNCTIONS, MAKING APPROPRIATIONS THEREFOR, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES," BY THE INSERTION OF AN ADDITIONAL PARAGRAPH THEREIN.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:

SECTION 1. Section three of Act Numbered Twenty-seven hundred and twenty-eight is hereby amended by adding another paragraph (ee) after paragraph (e) thereof which shall read as follows:
"(ee) Any person, partnership or corporation engaging in any of the occupations prescribed in paragraph (e) hereof without having first secured the necessary license from the Bureau of Commerce and Industry, or who continues to engage therein after the license previously issued has been revoked, or after having failed to renew the same within thirty days after its expiration, or who violates any of the regulations promulgated by the Bureau of Commerce and Industry under this section, will be punished by a fine not to exceed five hundred pesos or imprisonment not to exceed six months, or both, in the discretion of the court."
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
