[ Act No. 3702, November 20, 1930 ]

AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION THIRTEEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY-FOUR OF ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-SEVEN HUNDRED AND ELEVEN, KNOWN AS THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE OF NINETEEN HUNDRED AND SEVENTEEN.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:

SECTION 1. Section thirteen hundred and fifty-four of Act Numbered Twenty-seven hundred and eleven, known as the Administrative Code of nineteen hundred and seventeen, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 1354. Failure to supply requisite manifests.—If any vessel shall enter or depart from a port of entry without the submission of proper manifests to the customs authorities, or shall enter or depart conveying unmanifested cargo other than as stated in the next preceding section hereof, such vessel shall be fined in a sum not exceeding five thousand pesos.

"The same fine shall be imposed upon any arriving or departing vessel if the master shall fail to deliver or mail to the Insular Auditor a true copy of the manifest of the incoming or outgoing cargo, as required by law."
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
