AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION FIVE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FOUR OF ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-SEVEN HUNDRED AND ELEVEN, KNOWN AS THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, REGARDING THE HOURS OF LABOR OF GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:
SECTION 1. Section five hundred and sixty-four of Act Numbered Twenty-seven hundred and eleven, known as the Administrative Code, is hereby amended to read as follows:
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on July first, nineteen hundred and thirty-one.

SECTION 1. Section five hundred and sixty-four of Act Numbered Twenty-seven hundred and eleven, known as the Administrative Code, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 564. On Saturdays and during the hot season.—On Saturdays throughout the year and on all days during the hot season, from April first to June fifteenth, inclusive, the period of labor may be reduced to five continuous hours: Provided, That in the case of the city of Baguio the short hours will be observed from July first to September fifteenth, inclusive; but an executive order so disposing shall not oblige the head of any Department, Bureau, or Office so to reduce the hours of labor in his branch of work but shall leave the same in his discretion subject to the requirements of the service."SEC. 2. All acts or parts of acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on July first, nineteen hundred and thirty-one.
