[ Act No. 2086, December 20, 1911 ]

AN ACT AMENDING ACT NUMBERED TWO THOUSAND AND SIXTY-NINE, ENTITLED "AN ACT MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR SUNDRY EXPENSES OF THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENTS OF AGUSAN, NUEVA VIZCAYA, AND THE MOUNTAIN PROVINCE, FOR INSULAR EXPENSES IN THE SAID PROVINCES AND THE MORO PROVINCE FOR THE PERIOD ENDING JUNE THIRTIETH, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND TWELVE, AND ADDING TO THE PURPOSES FOR WHICH THE MONEY APPROPRIATED BY SECTION FIVE OF ACT NUMBERED TWO THOUSAND AND SIXTY-TWO MAY BE USED," BY AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE FOR PERMANENT IMPROVEMENTS OF FUNDS APPROPRIATED BY SAID ACT FOR CURRENT EXPENSES.

By the authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:

SECTION 1. Act Numbered Two thousand and sixty-nine, entitled "An Act making appropriations for sundry expenses of the provincial governments of Agusan, Nueva Vizcaya, and the Mountain Province, for Insular expenses in the said provinces and the Moro Province for the period ending June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twelve, and adding to the purposes for which the money appropriated by section five of Act Numbered Two thousand and sixty-two may be used," is hereby amended by inserting the following as section four and changing the present section four to five:
"SEC. 4. Subject to approval of the head of the proper Department, provincial boards or chiefs of Bureaus or Offices may expend on permanent improvements funds appropriated for current expenses."
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
