[ Act No. 2526, August 26, 1915 ]
AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND PESOS FOR AGRICULTURAL AND INDUSTRIAL ADVANCEMENT, SANITATION AND IRRIGATION IN THE MOUNTAIN PROVINCE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:
SECTION 1. The sum of thirty-five thousand pesos is hereby appropriated for the Mountain Province out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be expended under the direction of the Secretary of the Interior for agricultural and industrial advancement, sanitation, education, and irrigation, including salaries and wages, traveling expenses, and purchase of supplies and material and other incidental expenses: Provided, That expenditures from this fund are hereby authorized for the construction of irrigation ditches for townships and groups of individuals.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
