AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF TWO THOUSAND PESOS TO REIMBURSE THE SPECIAL FUND TO BE EXPENDED, IN THE DISCRETION OF THE SECRETARY OF THE INTERIOR, CREATED BY ACT NUMBERED TWO THOUSAND AND SIXTY-NINE, FOR THE AMOUNT EXPENDED IN PURCHASING FOODSTUFFS TO RELIEVE SUFFERING IN THE SUBPROVINCE OF BUTUAN.
By authority of the United Stales, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of two thousand pesos to reimburse the special fund to be expended, in the discretion of the Secretary of the Interior, created by Act Numbered Two thousand and sixty-nine, for moneys expended in the purchase of foodstuffs to relieve suffering caused by destructive floods in the Agusan River Valley in the subprovince of Butuan.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
Enacted, January 18, 1912.
