[ Act No. 2114, February 01, 1912 ]

AN ACT FIXING THE DATE ON WHICH THE ANNUAL SESSIONS OF THE PHILIPPINE LEGISLATURE SHALL COMMENCE.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Legislature, that:

SECTION 1. Beginning with the year nineteen hundred and twelve and thereafter, the annual session of the Philippine Legislature shall commence on the sixteenth day of October, or if the sixteenth day of October be a legal holiday, then on the first day following which is not a legal holiday.

SEC. 2. Act Numbered Nineteen hundred and twenty-nine, entitled "An Act to change the date for commencing future annual sessions of the Philippine Legislature" is hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the same shall take effect on its passage, in accordance with the provisions of section one of Act Numbered Nineteen hundred and forty-five of the Philippine Legislature.
