[ Act Nos. 2130, February 01, 1912 ]

AN ACT ABOLISHING THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT ATTORNEY-GENERAL AND ONE POSITION OF ASSISTANT ATTORNEY, AND CREATING TWO POSITIONS OF ASSISTANT ATTORNEY IN LIEU THEREOF IN THE OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY-GENERAL.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Legislature, that:

SECTION 1. The position of Assistant Attorney-General at a salary of eight thousand pesos per annum and one position of assistant attorney at a salary of six thousand pesos per annum in the Bureau of Justice are hereby abolished, and in lieu thereof there are hereby created two positions of assistant attorney at a salary of seven thousand pesos each per annum: Provided, however, That in case one of said positions of assistant attorney becomes vacant after having been once filled the salary of such position shall be reduced to six thousand pesos.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
