[ Act No. 2784, December 21, 1918 ]

AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE ADDITIONAL TRAINING, FOR TWO MONTHS, OF THE NATIONAL GUARD, AND APPROPRIATING THE NECESSARY FUNDS FOR ALL THE EXPENSES THEREOF.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:

SECTION 1. The action taken by the Governor-General, with the advice and consent of the Militia Commission, in ordering the additional training of the Philippine National Guard Division for two months, from December twentieth, nineteen hundred and eighteen, to February nineteenth, nineteen hundred and nineteen, both dates inclusive, is hereby approved.

SEC. 2. The following sums are hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, in addition to such other sums as have been, or may be appropriated in the appropriation acts, to be expended under the direction of the Militia Commission, in the manner provided for in said acts:

For pay, per diems, and allowances of officers of all grades, non-commissioned officers, and privates, at such rates and subject to such condition as may be prescribed by the Militia Commission .....................................................

For uniform and clothing of enlisted men............
467,520.00
For contingent expenses, as now or hereafter authorized by the Militia Commission, including supplies and material, ammunition, medical and surgical supplies, fuel, stationery, office material, land transportation supplies, care of buildings, and return transportation to their homes of officers and enlisted men......................................................

SEC 3. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
