[ Act No. 2275, April 18, 1913 ]

AN ACT .AMENDING ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHT, ENTITLED "AN ACT MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR SUNDRY EXPENSES OF THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENTS OF AGUSAN, NUEVA VIZCAYA, AND THE MOUNTAIN PROVINCE, FOR INSULAR EXPENSES IN THE SAID PROVINCES AND THE MORO PROVINCE FOR THE PERIOD ENDING DECEMBER THIRTY-FIRST, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND THIRTEEN," AS AMENDED BY ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY-EIGHT, SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR ONE ADDITIONAL CAPTAIN AND SURGEON AND ONE ADDITIONAL FIRST LIEUTENANT AND MEDICAL INSPECTOR IN THE BUREAU OF CONSTABULARY.

By authority of the  United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:

SECTION 1. The paragraph headed "Bureau of Constabulary" in section one of Act Numbered Twenty-two hundred and eight, as amended by section one (ft) of Act Numbered Twenty-two hundred and sixty-eight, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"BUREAU  OF  CONSTABULARY.

"For salaries and wages and duly authorized contingent expenses of the Bureau of Constabulary, including maintenance and repair of Insular buildings, for use in the Moro Province, the Mountain Province, and the Provinces of Agusan and Nueva Vizcaya, nine hundred and eighty thousand pesos.

Additional officers. "The appointment in the manner and at the salaries provided by law of one additional lieutenant-colonel and assistant director, one additional major, three additional captains, one additional captain and surgeon, five additional first lieutenants, one additional first lieutenant and medical inspector, and five additional second lieutenants is hereby authorized."
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect as of January first, nineteen hundred and thirteen.
