[ Act No. 2310, December 20, 1913 ]
AN ACT FOR THE RELIEF OF M. L. STEWART, DIRECTOR OF PRISONS, FROM CERTAIN ACCOUNTABILITY.
By authority of the United States, be it enacted by Philippine Legislature, that:
SECTION 1. The Auditor for the Philippine Islands is hereby directed to credit the account of M. L. Stewart, Director of Prisons, with the sum of three thousand two hundred and nineteen pesos and four centavos on account of a defalcation of Owen Messet, former sales clerk of the Bureau of Prisons, who was prosecuted, pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to imprisonment for four years by the Court of First Instance of Manila.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
Enacted, December 20, 1913.
