[ Act No. 2314, January 16, 1914 ]

AN ACT TRANSFERRING THE OFFICE OF CONSULTING ARCHITECT TO THE BUREAU OF PUBLIC WORKS, AND PROVIDING THAT THE DUTIES HERETOFORE PERFORMED BY HIM SHALL BE PERFORMED BY HIM IN FUTURE AS AN OFFICER OF THE BUREAU OF PUBLIC WORKS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Legislature, that:

SECTION 1. The position of Consulting Architect, created under Act Numbered Fourteen hundred and ninety-five, is hereby placed under the Bureau of Public Works, and all the duties heretofore devolving upon the Consulting Architect, as provided by law, shall be performed by such architect as an officer of the Bureau of Public Works, and he shall work under the supervision of the Director of Public Works.

SEC. 2. The Consulting Architect shall be appointed by the Governor-General, with the advice and consent of the Philippine Commission and his salary shall be as fixed in the general appropriation Acts.

SEC. 3. All laws and parts of laws inconsistent with the conflicting Acts re-provision of this Act are hereby repealed.
