[ Act No. 2355, February 28, 1914 ]

AN ACT AMENDING SECTION ONE OF ACT NUMBERED EIGHTEEN HUNDRED AND TWENTY-FOUR, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO FIX THE TIME FOR MAKING ANNUAL REPORTS BY THE DIRECTORS OF BUREAUS AND HEADS OF OFFICES OF THE INSULAR GOVERNMENT, PROVINCIAL GOVERNORS, AND THE MUNICIPAL BOARD OF THE CITY OF MANILA, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES," SO THAT GENERAL REPORTS PRINTED SHALL BE PREPARED BY THE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY AND BY THE SECRETARY OF THE RESPECTIVE DEPARTMENT IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Legislature, that:

SECTION 1. Section one of Act Numbered Eighteen hundred and twenty-four is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. All provincial governors and the Municipal Board of the city of Manila, and all Directors of Bureaus and heads of Offices of the Insular Government shall render to the Governor-General and to the Secretary of the proper Department, as the case may be, annual typewritten reports for each fiscal year ending December thirty-first, without such reports being printed unless by specific approval of the Governor-General. Once such reports shall have been rendered, the Executive Secretary, acting in representation of the Governor-General, and the Secretaries of Departments, shall prepare within a period of time ending not later than the last working day of the following February, unless the Governor-General shall otherwise provide, in each case, their reports, which shall be printed in Spanish and English and shall be distributed in such manner as the Governor-General shall provide."
SEC. 2. All Acts or parts of Acts inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
