[ Act No. 2469, February 05, 1915 ]

AN ACT TO FACILITATE CADASTRAL SURVEY WORK OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Legislature, that:

SECTION 1. When the public interests require the facilitation of cadastral survey work, either now in progress or hereafter to be inaugurated, the Governor-General, upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Interior, is hereby authorized to make changes in the authorized positions and salaries of the surveying personnel of the Bureau of Lands, the provisions of section seven of Act Numbered Twenty-four hundred and thirty-one to the contrary notwithstanding : Provided, That the total cost for salaries and wages shall not exceed the amount authorized by law.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
