[ Act No. 282, October 28, 1901 ]

AN ACT AMENDING PARAGRAPHS THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FIVE AND THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SIX OF SECTION ELEVEN OF THE TARIFF REVISION LAW OF NINE-HUNDRED AND ONE.

By authority of the President of the United States, be it enacted by the United States Philippine Commission, that:

SECTION 1. Whereas paragraphs three hundred and sixty-five and three hundred and sixty-six of section eleven of the Tariff Revision Law of nineteen hundred and one contain denial errors in the insertion of decimal points which ought not to have been inserted, said paragraphs are hereby, by special, direction of the Secretary of War, amended so as to read as follows:
"365. On all other goods, wares, merchandise, and effects not otherwise enumerated or provided for, except crude materials, twenty-five per centum ad valorem.

"366. On crude materials not otherwise enumerated, ten per centum ad valorem."
SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
