[ Act No. 285, October 29, 1901 ]
AN ACT PROVIDING CLERICAL ASSISTANCE IN THE DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR, THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE AND POLICE, THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND JUSTICE, AND THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION.
By authority of the President of the United States, be it enacted by the United States Philippine Commission, that:
SECTION 1. One stenographer and typewriter of class nine is hereby authorized in each of the following Departments: Department of the Interior, Department of Commerce and Police, Department of Finance and Justice, and Department of Public Instruction.
SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
Enacted, October 29, 1901.
