[ Act No. 2948, February 16, 1921 ]
AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE DISBURSEMENT OF SUCH SUM AS MAY BE NECESSARY OF THE UNEXPENDED BALANCE OF THE FUNDS OF THE MAGELLAN CENTENNIAL COMMISSION CREATED BY ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-EIGHT HUNDRED AND TEN, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SCHOOLHOUSE ON THE ISLAND OF MACTAN, PROVINCE OF CEBU.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:
SECTION 1. The sum of ten thousand pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated out of the unexpended balance of the funds of the Magellan Centennial Commission created by Act Numbered Twenty-eight hundred and ten, to be disbursed for the construction of a schoolhouse on the Island of Mactan, Province of Cebu, the plan and cost whereof shall be designated by the Bureau of Education, upon agreement with the Provincial Board of Cebu.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
