[ Act No. 2955, February 19, 1921 ]
AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, REPAIR, AND MAINTENANCE OF RURAL ROADS AND BRIDGES ON THE SO-CALLED "FRIAR ESTATE."
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:
SECTION 1. The Director of Lands is hereby authorized to for expend seventy-five thousand pesos of the friar lands funds, reimbursable out of the funds of the Insular Treasury, for the construction, maintenance, and repair of roads, trails, and bridges on the friar estates acquired by the Government and at present under the administration of the Bureau of Lands.
SEC. 2. The funds appropriated by this Act shall be distributed by the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources among the municipalities in which said estates are located, subject to the approval of the presiding officers of both Houses of the Legislature.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
