[ Act No. 481, October 15, 1902 ]

AN ACT SO AMENDING SECTION SEVENTEEN OF ACT NUMBERED FOUR HUNDRED AND TWENTY-TWO, PROVIDING FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF A PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT IN THE PROVINCE OF PARAGUA AND DEFINING THE LIMITS OF THAT PROVINCE, AS TO EXTEND FOR THREE MONTHS THE PERIODS OF TIME NAMED IN SAID SECTION.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:

SECTION 1. Section seventeen of Act Numbered Four hundred and twenty-two, entitled "An Act providing for the organization of a provincial government in the Province of Paragua, and defining the limits of that province," is hereby amended by extending for a period of three months all the limitations of time mentioned in said section for making declarations as to the value of property for the purposes of taxation, subjecting parties to fines for failure to make such declarations, for preparing the lists of persons from whom taxes are due, for the period within which taxes may be paid, and for the date on which unpaid taxes shall become delinquents

SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
