AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION FOUR OF COMMONWEALTH ACT NUMBERED SIXTY-SEVEN SO AS TO AUTHORIZE THE IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF THE SUMS OF MONEY APPROPRIATED AS TO ITEMS TWO, FOUR, FIVE, TEN, AND FIFTEEN, SUBSECTION E, (K) OF THE SAID ACT, FOR THE MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, IMPROVEMENT AND EXTENSION OF RIVER CONTROL WORKS ON THE PAMPANGA RIVER, IN PAMPANGA; AGNO, IN PANGASINAN; O'DONNELL, IN TARLAC; AN GAT, IN BULACAN; AND PAMPANGA, IN NUEVA ECIJA.
Be it enacted by the National Assembly of the Philippines:
SECTION 1. Section four of Commonwealth Act Numbered Sixty-seven, is hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION 1. Section four of Commonwealth Act Numbered Sixty-seven, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect on January first, nineteen hundred and thirty-seven, except as herein otherwise specifically provided, and except further as to the sums appropriated for items two, four, five, ten, and fifteen, subsection E (fc), of the said Act, the immediate release of all which is hereby authorized upon the approval of this Act to promptly carry out the maintenance, repair, improvement and extension of river control works on the Pampanga River, in Pampanga; Agno, in Pang-asinan; O'Donnell, in Tarlac; Angat, in Bulacan; and Pampanga, in Nueva Ecna."SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
