[ Commonwealth Act No. 291, June 09, 1938 ]

AN ACT TO GRANT AN EXTENSION OF THIRTY DAYS TO THE OCMIS ELECTRIC SERVICE COMPANY TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF ACTS NUMBERED THIRTY-SIX HUNDRED AND FORTY-FIVE AND THIRTY-NINE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-ONE IN CONNECTION WITH A FRANCHISE FOR ELECTRIC LIGHT, HEAT AND POWER SERVICE, IN OROQUIETA, PROVINCE OF OCCIDENTAL MISAMIS.

Be it enacted by the National Assembly of the Philippines:

SECTION 1. The Ocmis Electric Service Company is granted an extension of thirty days, from the date of the approval of this Act, to comply with the terms and conditions set forth in Acts Numbered Thirty-six hundred and forty-five and Thirty-nine hundred and fifty-one relative to the acceptance of the franchise, the deposit and other requirements under the said Acts granting the Ocmis Electric Service Company a franchise to install and operate an electric plant in the municipality of Oroquieta, Province of Occidental Misamis: Provided, however, That the said franchise shall be subject to the limitations provided in the Constitution of the Philippines.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
