[ Commonwealth Act No. 681, September 24, 1945 ]

AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR THE IMMEDIATE REHABILITATION OF THE PHILIPPINE TUBERCULOSIS SOCIETY, INCLUDING THE QUEZON INSTITUTE, AND OF OTHER AGENCIES ENGAGED IN THE FIGHT AGAINST AND THE CONTROL OF TUBERCOLOSIS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in Congress Assembled:

SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of one million pesos which shall be given as aid for the immediate rehabilitation of the Philippine Tubercolosis Society, including the Quezon Institute as well as of other agencies engaged in the fight against and the control of tubercolosis: Provided, That the amount of eight hundred thousand pesos shall be set aside for the Philippine Tubercolosis Society and the Quezon Institute.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
