[ Commonwealth Act No. 563, June 07, 1940 ]
AN ACT TO AMEND COMMONWEALTH ACT NUMBERED TWO HUNDRED FORTY ENTITLED "AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF FIVE MILLION FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BUILDINGS".
Be it enacted by the National Assembly of the Philippines:
SECTION 1. The following item of appropriation under section one, paragraph A, of Commonwealth Act Numbered Two hundred forty, is amended so as to read as follows:
"SORSOGON
Approved, June 7, 1940.
SECTION 1. The following item of appropriation under section one, paragraph A, of Commonwealth Act Numbered Two hundred forty, is amended so as to read as follows:
"63. For additional rooms, Central School, Magallanes P2,500.00"SEC. 2. Section three of Commonwealth Act Numbered Two hundred forty, as amended by Commonwealth Act Numbered Four hundred and seventy-four, is further amended so as to read as follows:
"SEC. 3. All balances of the appropriations made by this Act remaining unexpected on June thirtieth, nineteen hundred forty-one, shall revert to the Philippine Coconut Oil Trust Fund and thereafter shall not be available for expenditure except upon appropriation by the National Assembly."SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
