[ LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 701, June 05, 1978 ]

  The Municipal Mayor Moalboal,
Cebu

WHEREAS, the town of Moalboal has been declared a tourism zone because of its tourism potential;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Tourism Authority has commissioned the topographic and parcellary survey of the areas proposed for development;

WHEREAS, the completion of the survey is being unduly delayed on account of the refusal of some residents to allow entrance to their properties; and

WHEREAS, Moalboal is a priority tourism development project;

NOW, THEREFORE, you are hereby directed to make the necessary arrangements and representations with the residents of Barangays Tuble, Saavedra and Basdiot in Moalboal, Cebu, affected by the tourism development of PTA to allow the ingress and egress of surveyors to areas affected and to cooperate fully in the successful implementation of the development plans for Moalboal with assurances to the owners of the land that their property rights will be respected.

Done in the City of Manila, this 5th day of June, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-eight.
