[ LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 29, October 19, 1972 ]

TO:
The Secretary of Foreign Affairs

In order to facilitate the implementation of the program of reforms of the Government, and in relation to your letter dated October 7 and 12, 1972, recommending the acceptance of the resignation of certain presidential appointees and informing that several staff officers and employees of that department will be asked to resign, etc., the following disciplinary actions are hereby taken for the cases stated in your said letters:
  1. The resignations of the following are accepted:

    1. Minister Emilio Martinez
    2. Mr. Angel Lanuza
    3. Mr. Resurreccion Azada
    4. Mr. Marciano Joven
    5. Mr. Pablo Sen
    6. Mr. Fernando Santos
    7. Mr. Felipe Quiza

  2. The following staff officers and employees are considered resigned:

    1. Ernesto Paloma
    2. Cristobal Manalo
    3. Jose Ortiz
    4. Lucia O. Castro

  3. The following staff officers and employees are to be reassigned:

    1. Zoilo Alberto
    2. Ernesto Estrellado
    3. Amparo Farrales
    4. Ernestina Kodikara

  4. The following staff officers and employees are recalled to the Home Office for further investigation of their cases by the Board of Foreign Service:

    1. Rosalinda de Perio
    2. Mariano Bravo
    3. Estrella Pipo
    4. Emmanuel Contreras
This Order shall be implemented immediately.
