[ LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 266, April 01, 1975 ]

Department of Justice Manila

Pursuant to the last proviso to Section 2 of General Order No. 49, dated October 4, 1974, I hereby direct that all cases involving bladed weapons punishable under the provisions of paragraph 3 of Presidential Decree No. 9 be, as it was originally intended, transferred from the jurisdiction of military tribunals to the civil courts.

You are directed to devise measures to insure the orderly transfer of said cases as well as other cases still in the hands of the military authorities the jurisdiction over which, pursuant to General Order No. 49, has been transferred to the civil courts.

DONE in the City of Manila, this 1st day of April, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Seventy-Five.
