[ LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 271, April 22, 1975 ]

In view of the limitation on the number of cultural minority grantees set by Letter of Instructions No. 81 dated May 28, 1973 and pursuant to the policies enumerated by Presidential Decree No. 193 and other related Acts, you are hereby directed to accommodate 300 additional qualified applicants for National Integration Study Grant for the school year 1975-1976, each grantee to receive, within the prescribed period of the grant, an allowance not exceeding P1,500 per school year, or P150 per month, exclusive of tuition and other school fees.
This amends LOI No. 81 which limits the number of grantees to 4,000, each with a stipend of not exceeding P1,565.
The Budget Commissioner shall release the amount corresponding to this Instructions.
This shall be implemented immediately.
