[ LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS No. 1357, September 30, 1983 ]

TO:
ALL MINISTRIES, OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND GOVERNMENT-OWNED OR CONTROLLED CORPORATIONS ALL CONCERNED

WHEREAS, the Kilusang Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran (KKK), a government project designed to contribute to the economic and social development of the country, is in need of the services of dedicated, efficient and effective implementors and overseers of its programs and projects, to be herein after called KKK Municipal Action Officers (KKK-MAOs) ;

WHEREAS, these officers must at all times maintain the high standards demanded of them by the dynamic and evolving structure of the national livelihood movement;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution and by law, do hereby order and direct:
  1. The Kilusang Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran National Secretariat shall be directly responsible for appointing the KKK Municipal Action Officers.  The Secretary General is hereby authorized to appoint, terminate and/or transfer KKK Municipal Action Officers, subject to such terms and conditions as may be deemed necessary by the Secretary General.

  2. Letters of Instructions No. 1184, dated January 9, 1982, is hereby superseded.  All Executive Orders, Letters of Instructions, Rules and Regulations or parts thereof, which are inconsistent with the provisions of this Letter of Instructions, are hereby deemed amended, repealed or modified accordingly.

  3. This Letter of Instructions shall take effect immediately.
Done in the City of Manila, this 30th day of September in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-three.
