I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of Your Excellency's letter of today's date informing me that the Philippines has complied with its domestic requirements for the entry into force of the agreement on cultural cooperation between the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Government of the Republic of the Philippines signed in Manila on April 13, 1983.
May I, on instruction from my government, therefore, state that the agreement enters into force on today's date, September 20, 1985.
I avail myself of this opportunity to renew to Your Excellency the assurances of my highest consideration.
